![]() You stand a chance of guessing if the sensor is working correctly but if the sensor is giving a faulty reading you have almost no chance of spotting this unless you know what it is supposed to be. For example Block 1 Item 4 says it is a pressure, but the pressure of what? If you turn the AC on and watch it you might guess that it is the pressure at the output of the compressor (I did). Hovering over the live data will not produce a balloon. It says things like RPM, Voltage, Pressure, Load, etc., but gives you no clue as to which RPM, Voltage, etc., it is. If you do the same thing for the HVAC (module 08) you will notice that the text under the live data is far less instructive. If you hover the cursor over the live data, a balloon pops up and tells you the expected range of the data. The text under each block tells you what the data is (Block 1, value 1 says 'Engine Speed'). If you connect to VCDS select the engine module, go to Measuring Blocks, select block 001 and hit go.
